I love the word "frock". The British use it to mean a woman's dress, but its a 14th century Germanic word which means a loose outer garment primarily worn by men--like a monk's habit or a smock. Not very girly, but I still like the word. It describes well some of the new pieces in my spring and summer line--loose, flowy, smock-like. The Easter Frock is one of my favorites.

Kid Independent--Kid Inspiration!
Girls With a Message!
Art by Linda Tieu.
As a designer and maker of girl's clothing I am always interested in all things made for kids. I find great inspiration and motivation from many designers from all over the world. I've discovered a wonderful Australian site called Kid independent ( ahh, those infinitely creative and clever Aussies) that features hand crafted kid designs in art, clothing, toys, room accessories and more! One main requirement for the designers they feature is they must be able to sell their product internationally.
